Hi Mary, Sorry I’ve fallen so far behind on my journal. Taking a couple days off here in MO before heading to the East coast to complete the final leg of my journey to catch up my journal. I’ve only lost 16 lbs but my waistline is 2 inches smaller. Yes, by all means take up biking it is great exercise for the body and mind.

The last post was a month ago, and wondered if you’ll do a followup. You were heading to the presentation when your story ended. I hope you’re ok, but I haven’t seen any mention of a problem so I assume you’re just reaclimating to being home.
        Great job Frank!

          Hi Mary,

Sorry I haven’t been posting lately. I’m having a difficult time trying to reaclimate is an understatement. I guess I have the “Wanderlust” in my blood and would like to spend the rest of my days riding a bicycle around the US or even around the world. I will be making some updates and changes to the website this week. Thank you for continuing to check out my website. Let me know what you think of the changes when they are made. Looking forward to seeing you in January.

Hi Lisa, Yes my tweet address is oldguyonabicycl but it is best to contact me at the old guy website as I check it more frequently. Vic, Dan and the crew are in Vegas to take care of your friends. Where are you now, I can possibly use your help. Thanks!

Hi Frank! Glad to hear you’ll be dipping your front tire in the Pacific Ocean in just a few days. Your cross country trip has been a long ride for those of us at home, too.
I’d love to do a day trip and ride the Katy Trail in September. Can’t wait to use my new bike rack. Enjoy your Pacific ride north. Nancy

Hi Nancy, yea me too. I’m looking forward to having this stage of my adventure in the books. I look forward to us riding the KATY trial but it will have to be in October after I complete the adventure. We will have to use your car so you can use your rack.

Hi Greg, It is a surprise to me. I’m only trying to fullfill a childhood dream and prove we baby boomers have what it takes to make our dreams come true. Hope to keep you entertained along the way.

How are you doing these days Frank. Hoping to hear more about your ride and how you are doing. Thinking of you often!
I was following RAAM the last week and while you like your food I like my sleep. Don’t see how those guys and women can do it!
