I’ve applied to be a contestant on the TV Reality show Survivor

Yep, I’ve decided to test myself or at least hope to see how well I can survive on this TV show.  I’ve been a big fan of the show ever since it’s inception and thought I’d like to do that.  After completing my epic corner to corner crossing of America, I thought I just might have a means of getting the casting directors attention.  Part of the application process I needed a three minute video stating why I’d make a good contestant.  Thanks to my good friend Jack who did the Old Guy Video he condensed that video down to the required 3 minutes.  I think you will enjoy watching his handy work by clicking on this link:

Sorry to report I didn’t make it for the upcoming season.  I was notified by one of the casting team members my application and video will be kept on file to be considered for a future season.  You can also be sure I’ll keep applying to be a contestant as I don’t give up easily. 
Don’t know how much it helps but keep viewing the video from time and asking your friends to view it, too.  It can’t hurt for the casting directors to see I’ve had about a thousand views of the video in little over a month and the number keeps climbing.   Thank you for your support of the Old Guy!

      Hi Nancy,

      Sorry I’ve been swamped under with having to work in my small wholesale billiard business. It’s a descretionary business, most folks don’t need a pool cue or case to put food on the table. With the economy being so bad, I’m having to jump back in and help find new business. I haven’t forgotten you and my promise to write an article or two for your new venture. Just be patient with this Old Guy.

      Hi Nancy, I received word I didn’t make it on Survivor. They did say they will keep my application and video on file for future season. You can be sure I’ll keep trying.

          Thank you. I just posted that I will continue to apply for a contestant slot on Survivor as the casting window opens again.
